What to Bring to an Event

Must Haves

You must have every item listed below for every event (except gun shows which have only 1 8ft table)

Traditional Events Booth

You must own or borrow a full booth including tables, tablecloths, banner, tent (if necessary), knife sets, accessories and table risers

Events Binder

Each rep must have their own binder with current pricing

Supplies

Each rep must bring their own supplies including: pennies, leather, junk knives, in-home sharpening forms, service request forms, order forms, clipboards, pens, and a Cutco name tag

Clothing

Each rep must wear appropriate clothing to the event. No sandals/flipflops, no t-shirts, nothing inappropriate. Business Casual at least

Should Bring

We highly recommend but do not require that you bring the following items.

Stool

No chairs allowed but you may bring a folding stool to sit on while waiting for your turn. Nothing too big that it clutters the booth

Additional Cutco

Bring everything you own that makes sense to display: gadgets, outdoor knives, accessories, extra sets, flatware chest, cookware, wellness mats

Cart/Wagon

Transporting all this stuff is heavy and difficult, invest in a quality cart or wagon to make loading and unloading much easier. $50-$150 at Academy

Display Stands/Decorations

Cookware stand, knife set stand, hunting knife stands; available on Amazon. Placemats and many small decorations at Michael's, Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby

How to Check-In for Your Event (So Your Orders are Tagged Properly)

How to Tag an Order to an Event (if you didn't check in)

How to Handle ROR Orders

Post in Groupme

Immediately after writing up a known ROR order or after searching the ROR list and finding a match, post in groupme that you have an ROR order for someone on the team. Wait for at least a few drums to roll in and then reveal the CPO and who it is for.

Transfer Email Sent to All Parties Involved

All ROR orders must be transferred immediately. Put the subject line as Order Transfer and send an email to oleandp@cutco.com to request the transfer. You must CC the rep (emails on roster page), the coordinator and the DVM (davidmichael3737@gmail.com)

Send Venmo Request

Immediately after sending the transfer email, send a Venmo (or equivalent) request to the rep you are transferring the order to for 15% of any order 999 CPO or less and 20% for any order 1000+ CPO. This request will be fulfilled by the following Friday.
